A lesson that can make a difference for every young person

Our ambition is clear: every child in grade 8 should receive an EPJO lesson before they go to secondary school.
That is the moment when young people are still open-minded, listening, and learning in time which choices will strengthen their future.
We know that this ideal is not achievable everywhere—but we continue to strive for it. Every day.

We deliberately keep the contribution for schools low so that every class can participate, regardless of budget or neighborhood.
The actual costs are higher: lesson development, videos, training of experts and police, organization, coordination, and supervision.
We cover the difference with funds and donations.

That is why your support is so important.

What your donation makes possible!

EPJO lessons

Police and experienced expert in the classroom

Open discussions between young people, police, and experts on topics that are relevant today:
bullying, peer pressure, online recruitment, drugs, violence, weapons, explosives, social media, sexting, sextortion, lover boys, and human trafficking.

EPJO 2.0

Tailored interventions

For situations that require more, such as:

  • youth groups causing nuisance
  • tensions between young people and the police
  • signals in neighborhood or school
  • vulnerable girls (sextortion, pimps, human trafficking, relationship control)

EPJO for Parents

The third corner of the triangle

We see school and the street. But home is just as important.
We give parents concrete tools to recognize signs and keep the conversation open, even when it gets difficult.

Buddy project

Support at the right time

Sometimes a young person needs someone who speaks their language.
Our experts guide young people and schools through:

  • One-on-one meetings ( once a week for at least 6 weeks)
  • Intensive buddy programs ( intensive guidance, 24/7 on call for at least 3 months)
  • School buddy coach (structural coaching & identification within schools)

Why donations are necessary

We deliberately keep the contribution for EPJO lessons, EPJO 2.0, and EPJO for Parents low.
The actual costs are higher—development, training, materials, organization, updating.

The Buddy Project is also often dependent on municipal funding, which can take a long time to materialize.
Donations enable immediate action, without any waiting period.

Your contribution helps us to:

  • keeping teaching materials and videos up to date
  • train and supervise experts by experience, police officers, and buddies
  • EPJO lessons, EPJO 2.0, and EPJO for Parents can be implemented for a low fee.
  • to deploy the Buddy Project immediately where concerns arise
  • supporting schools, municipalities, community centers, and youth centers
  • securing the project organization so that we can respond quickly
